My sister left yesterday for a return trip to Africa. She will be sadly missed but I also can't help but reflect on the mystic beauty of Africa ......I do miss it ..x

TATS.......For Mum And Daughter!

 

My Ten year old and I have decided to have some Henna tats for our trip to France next week. We are Super excited about it  and keep coming up with all kinds of crazy ideas on what we want to have designed. Henna tatoos normally last a week ,which is great because I would never be brave enough to get the real thing done! Happy Monday Guys! x

 Hi guys! I thought I'd start my hectic week with this Beautiful House ,in Marrakesh owned by  the very clever Fashion designer, Liza Bruce. As for me I have started to design the tiles and have to say I am finding the Morroccan Tiles very inspiring, especially the colours.  There is no lack of colour in my inspirations at the moment!  I hope (time willing)  to share some of my inspirations this week with you all! CURRENT OBSESSION...

All I want to do is sleep......

Since starting my new project and working at De Ferranti, I have been non-stop. This morning, I was up at 4.45am, did my Yoga and sat down to work doing e-mails and stuff. As  my hubby left for work we made a pact to have a long and lazy lie-in on Sunday........looking forward to it;-)

HOUSE OF THE WEEK.

 Hi Lovelies! It's been quite some time! I'm having the best time at De Ferranti, will up date you in he coming weeks. I  don't know if we should be calling this "courtyard of the week" instead? but I love the Jali design on the wooden gate.and don't get me started on the pond with the Buddhist statue-HEAVENLY.

Happy weekend guys! Things have been CRAZY the last few weeks, My sister was on a job interview to Mozambique this afternoon, which is why I have posted these lovely images. I'm about to start a dream part-time job with a renowned Ceramic tile company, things can only get better really! x

My darling daughter is off on a school trip on Monday- for THREE days! She's only Ten and I fear I shall die from missing her! Sadly (for me!) she is over excited and the day could not come soon enough. They will have a disco on the last evening and I have been instructed to get a short funky dress (as if!). I hope you guys have a wonderful weekend and hope to see you all in good spirits next week!
